We were very impressed with the number of calls that second line got. Enough that I had to buy another phone to put up front because the 2nd line rang so much.

More people are using the Russell Country Phonebook because it is easier to use. It seems to be the trend to cut way back in Dex and put a bigger ad in the Russell Country.

 

Dex has out priced themselves. I have advertised in Dex for 15 years but enough is enough. The Russell Country Phonebook is much more reasonably priced and I like it

We decided not to go into the Russell Country Phonebook for the first 2 years that it was out. We thought that we would wait and see what happened. Then, by chance, our phone number was left out of the listings the second year. So many people kept asking us why we aren’t in the phonebook. It was at that point that we realized that people are using the Russell Country Phonebook a lot. We called their office and told them that we wanted in the next directory.

 

Suddenly, last February, our phone started ringing off the hook. My wife said, “What is going on? Why are we so much busier?” Then we thought, “Oh ya, the new phonebook is out with our ad in it!” We realized that was why our phone was ringing so much.

 

We are glad that we finally decided to put an ad in the Russell Country Phonebook. But we can’t help but wonder how much business we lost during the 2 years that we chose NOT to put an ad in their phonebook.
